Imagine having a heart or lung disease, waiting for a doctor to see you, but forced to live on the pavement outside Delhi’s AIIMS from 3 months – breathing its toxic air. This is the story of Mohammad Sabir, a lung cancer patient.

The effects of air pollution on health are severe. A third of deaths from stroke, lung cancer and heart disease are due to air pollution. Outdoor Air Pollution caused over 2,900 deaths in India every day, in 2016.
