A residential building in crowded and congested area of Tandel Street in South Mumbai’s Dongri collapsed just before noon on Tuesday exposing the cracks in Mumbai’s infrastructure.
Located in a narrow warren of streets, Kesarbai building which collapsed on Tuesday morning severely tested the response of the Fire Brigade and the National Disaster Response Force in getting crucial equipment and men on the spot on time
10 people have been rescued in the tragic building collapse. While Search & rescue operations continue, there were anxious moments as family members of those missing waited for some news- their hopes dimming with each passing hour.
13 people are now confirmed dead in Dongri Building collapse. Rescue work continued through the night to look for people trapped in the debris.
